Tasks & HQ
The HQ Task Board is CrewHub's Kanban-style project management tool. Unlike a regular task board, tasks here are executable — you can assign them to an agent and run them directly from the board.
The HQ Board
The board has 5 columns:
| Column | Description |
|---|---|
| To Do | Ready to be picked up |
| In Progress | Being worked on by an agent |
| Review | Waiting for human or agent review |
| Done | Completed |
| Blocked | Waiting on something external |
Creating a Task
- Click + Add Task in any column
- Enter a title and optional description
- Assign to an agent (optional)
- Set priority: Low, Normal, High, Critical
- Add labels or link to a project
Running a Task with an Agent
This is where CrewHub shines. Any task can be executed directly:
- Open the task detail
- Click Run with Agent
- Select which agent to run it
- The task is sent as a message to that agent
- The task moves to In Progress automatically
- When the agent signals completion, it moves to Review
Tasks created from Meeting action items are pre-formatted with full context — the agent gets the meeting background as part of the task prompt.
Task Status Flow
To Do → Run with Agent → In Progress → Agent done → Review → Approved → Done
Projects
Tasks can be grouped into Projects, which map to Rooms in the 3D world. The HQ board shows all projects at once; you can filter to a single project using the project selector.
HQ in the 3D World
The HQ room in the 3D world is the command center. It shows a bird's-eye view of all project rooms, with visual indicators for:
- How many agents are active in each room
- Whether a meeting is in progress
- Task counts per project (badges on the room nameplate)
